Newport Bay Conservancy
The Naturalists offer kayak tours, nature walks and other programs at various locations at Upper Newport Bay – the largest of only a few remaining unspoiled estuaries in Southern California and home to nearly 200 species of birds.
Newport Beach Golf Course is an 18 hole executive golf course conveniently located between the 55 and 73 freeways, behind John Wayne Airport. Our unique course offers players two distinctly different 9 holes. Players will enjoy our new, state of the art golf mats on our course and the practice range. Hit onto our lovely greens late into the night as the course is lighted for night play. Sharpen your short game skills on our practice chipping green that allows both rough and fringe chipping. Then use our 9 hole putting green to fine tune your favorite putter.
The Balboa Fun Zone is one of Southern California’s oldest and last great coastal amusement areas and a popular family-friendly attraction for visitors to Newport Beach. Visitors can enjoy rides on the waterfront Ferris Wheel, play games in the arcade or tour the nautical museum while enjoying their favorite beach treats. Balboa Newport Beach is also a popular place to rent bikes, harbor cruises, whale watching or take off for a day trip to nearby Catalina Island on the Catalina Flyer.
